Elise Watson

Elise Watson (she/her) is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow in the school of History, Classics and Archaeology. She researches and teaches on gender history and the history of the early printed book. Her current project, ‘A Scandalous Sisterhood? Female Collaboration in the First Age of Print’, examines women’s business relationships in the early modern book trade, and the history of women’s labour.
