Location
Online via Zoom
This event is only open to University of Edinburgh staff and students. Please use your University email address to register.
There is increasing recognition of the issue of student and staff experiences of gender-based violence, and the importance of the institutional response in seeking to prevent such experiences within the university community, and having a range of timely and helpful responses when required. In this webinar we will hear from three experienced researchers who have undertaken research within universities in the UK (Dr Susan Lagdon, Ulster University; Dr Anni Donaldson, previously University of Strathclyde) and USA (Professor Bill Flack, Bucknell University) on what helps to ensure that research is undertaken to high academic standards, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of participants. The webinar will involve a discussion between the three researchers facilitated by Professor John Devaney (University of Edinburgh).
