Meryl Kenny

Meryl is Head of Politics and International Relations and Professor of Gender and Politics in the School of Social and Political Science. She researches, teaches and consults on gender (in)equality in politics, with a focus on political parties and parliaments. Current research projects include work on violence against women in local politics; the quality of women’s political representation; and gender- and diversity-sensitive parliaments.
