Each year we hold an anniversary genderED showcase. This interactive showcase of research, teaching and institutional initiatives and campaigns allows attendees from across the University to present or learn about gender and sexualities studies work across a wide range of disciplines.
As part of genderED’s mission, we support and promote excellence in learning and teaching on gender and sexualities studies. We highlight current courses and identify gaps in provision, working with colleagues to build new capacity for an inclusive curriculum.
Funded by the University Grants Commission and UK-India Educational Research Initiative, this project was a North-South research and pedagogic collaboration between the University of Edinburgh, UK and Ambedkar University Delhi, India.
It sought to reflect collectively and comparatively on the transformative potential of doing feminisms in the academy, delving into questions of identity, pedagogy and violence.
